It's easy to be focused on the negative in sports. We talk more about who lost than who won, more about who didn't get a title than who did. It's a world of "glass half empty."
And then something like this happens:
I know that Matt Kemp didn't think about anyone else except that boy in that moment. I get that the realization and the attention may bother him a little. That makes it all the better, that he did it without any notions of glory.
