Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith is in trouble in Brazil. Fans in the country reportedly want him dead after he allegedly desecrated the jersey of the most popular club team in Brazil. Chad made the mistake in the country during a drum clinic when he was given a Flamengo soccer club jersey and shoved it down the back of his pants. The crowd booed and one fan even threw something at Smith's head. Several angry fans then wrote a death threats in the comments section of the YouTube page where a video of Chad's stunt was posted. Chad apologized about the whole thing on Twitter, saying "I want to apologize for my inappropriate antics at the drum clinic, my joke about team rivalries went too far. Flamenco fans...I'm sorry." Smith re-joined Red Hot Chili Peppers for a Saturday night in Rio de Janeiro, that went off without incident.
