3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell was arrested for driving under the influence Tuesday in Mississippi. According to a police report, D'Iberville, Mississippi police found Harrell "slumped over the steering wheel" of a car that was stopped at an intersection. Reportedly Harrell showed signs of impairment and was arrested and charged with 2nd offense DUI.
Last year, Harrell was charged with vehicular homicide in Tennessee after his speeding car clipped a pickup truck and sent it down an embankment. The driver of the truck was killed. That case is still pending. That case led the band to suspend Harrell from the group. 3 Doors Down released a statement saying that the group has now extended Harrell's suspension indefinitely. The posting said: "We take this action to protect the image and integrity of the band and to encourage Todd to address and resolve his problems."
