While in the house she picked up a gun and fired a warning shot towards her husband after he threatened to kill her.
Inside the room she fired the warning shot towards where her two children.
Now, the law in Floriday requires a mandatory 20 year sentence for aggravated assault. And the jury in her case ruled that because she went back into the house she was guilty of aggravated assault.
