Can animals sin? If so, then this squirrel has gluttonized itself well past the point of redemption.
No priest would hear its confession.
No cardinal would reflect on its motivation.
And no pope would forgive it of its sin.
This squirrel is so fat, it doesn't look like a squirrel. I thought that the people recording were pranking us by sedating a ground hog and stuffing it into the bird feeder.
But no. It is, indeed a squirrel. But not for long. A squirrel that fat is sure to be a thick, juicy dinner for a predator any minute.
