I don't wanna believe that someone that works and exists in the media would let something like this out of their face. But people are dumb. So here's the quote:
“Well what I would really like is a bunch of little niggers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around. Now, that would be a true Southern wedding wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.”
This was alleged, under oath, by a former employee of Paula Dean's. Either the employee is guilty of purgery or Paula Dean is taking leave of her senses. Or joking. Which still qualifies.
On a personal level, the n-bomb doesn't even bother me that much. I just don't wanna know how stupid the people around me truly are. Stuff like this only confirms it.
