I'm sure Anthony Gonzalez is a good guy even though he's French.
But that explains why he has NO idea what the American idea of 'selling out' means.
And tweeting that you want to produce Katy Perry's next album because you heard she danced to your song 'Midnight City' is the very definition of 'selling out.'
What's sad is that Anthony is just a musician that wants to share musical communion with another artist. But working with her could only get him raked over the hot coals of hipster cynicism.
And where hipster cynicism goes hipster dollars do not...unless hipster hypocrisy takes over. But that's a risky venture right there.
