I finally got to see Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. It was good but I haven’t really enjoyed all of the transformers movies. This week HARRY POTTER, A Disney Movie I am actually looking forward too, and tons of new movies on DVD.
These are the movies that were released on Friday July 15th, 2011
Harry Potter And The Deadly Hallows: Part 2 – Rated PG-13

This is it. The last Harry Potter movie. I think at this point there is no plot synopsis. No hype. No nothing. If you have watched the last 7 movies your going to this. If you don’t care about Harry Potter, you will not waste your time.
Verdict – I am interested in the end of this franchise and what it will mean. I hope this truly is the last Harry Potter. I will be going. After I first see part 1.
Winnie The Pooh – Rated G

Winnie The Pooh and friends have adventures looking for honey. Something like that. This is the first film since 1977’s The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh that a Pooh movie has been based entirely on the source material. That makes me happy. They are going for something kids will like but at the same time be a nostalgic trip back for mom and dad. I usually do not go for non Pixar sequels but I will make an exception.
Verdict – I am looking forward to a more traditional Disney movie, like the ones from my youth. I hope this does as well as a Pixar Movie.
Box Office Top 5 Movies In The Country
1. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon – Rated PG-13
2. Horrible Bosses – Rated R
3. Zookeeper – Rated PG
4. Cars 2 – Rated G
5. Bad Teacher – Rated R
Transfomers continues to make more money then a small country. I am happy that Horrible Bosses is making money and I have heard good things. Too bad Harry Potter will lay waste to everything in its path.

Insidious – Rated PG-13
Evil Spirits try to take over a boy and take him to a evil realm. When will evil spirits ever learn? This is from the creative team from the first Saw. I have heard good things so I am interested.
The Lincoln Lawyer – Rated – R

Matthew McConaughey plays a lawyer who practices out of the back of his Lincoln. I hope he keeps his shirt on. This movie didn’t make a splash when it came out in March but I will give McConaughey a chance due to this not being a romantic comedy.
These are the movies released on DVD Friday, July15th, 2011
Rango – Rated PG

Johnny Depp voices a lizard who is mistaken for a hero in a old west town. It looks good and I still find it funny that its rated PG due to some of the characters smoking.
Arthur (2011) – Rated PG-13

Russell Brand plays a playboy who stands to loose all his money when he falls for a woman his family does not approve of. Russell Brand tries to be Duddley Moore but fails miserably. I guess I would watch this when I don’t want to laugh.
Next week we take a trip back to the 80’s, the greatest American hero finally comes to the big screen, and some how Justin Timberlake gets to be sex buddies with Mila Kunis. THIS WORLD ISN’T FAIR.
