This week Denzel Washington and Tony Scott play with trains . . . again, Harrison Ford acts mean, and more. Lets see what’s hitting theatres

The Plot: With an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train barreling toward a city, a veteran engineer (Washington) and a young conductor (Pine) race against the clock to prevent a catastrophe.
Mac D’s Thoughts: Tony Scott and Denzel Washington collaborate on their 134th movie. Dark lighting ensues. Even with Chris Pine (Kirk in Star Trek) and Rosario Dawson I still have this feeling that I have seen it all before. Probably in The Taking of Pelham 123, the last movie Denzel and Scott worked on together. The cast is stellar so if they are putting forth some effort it will not be a waste of two hours.
Verdict. Sure I will go see this if you really want to go with me.
Morning Glory (This actually was released on 11/10)

Stars: Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keeton
Rated - PG-13
The Plot: An upstart television producer (McAdams) accepts the challenge of reviving a struggling morning show program with warring co-hosts (Keaton and Ford).
Mac D’s thoughts: Girl works too hard. Girl lands dream job. Girl says, “I am not looking for love.” Girl finds loved. Ends story. Well at lest that’s what I get from the trailer. Every plot synopsis I read on the Internet said this is a story of some one trying to take control of TV anchors. And when those anchors are Harrison Ford and Diane Keeton, sign me up. I still love everything Harrison Ford does.
Verdict; Its time to make the girlfriend take me to this movie as so I do not loose any man points.

The Plot: An extraterrestrial force descends upon Los Angeles, using strange lights to draw people into its deadly plan.
Mac D’s Thoughts: Transformers meets Independence Day, directed by some dudes who did special FX’s for the X-Files, staring some guys who need a break in movies. Seriously these are the kinds of movies that I love seeing how it pans out. The Directors The Brothers Strause having only Aliens Vs Predator Requiem under there belts. And its two man starts are known for TV roles (Eric Belfour for 24, Donald Faison for Scrubs). This is make or break for tons of people.
Verdict: Probably should go see it because I love me some Scrubs and Dr. Turk’s in it.
Or you could just stay home and enjoy your couch

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Good word of mouth has peak my interest in this. Michael Cera fighting tons of people would be good for a laugh. Every one I have talked to said it was good. That is enough for me to run out and take a look.
Grown Ups
Given my love for 90’s Saturday Night Live, I will give this movie a shot. It probably is a whole lot better then it has any right to be. Seems like a date night movie.
Metalocalypse season 3
The most brutal TV show ever. Now twice as long. Wear a cup when you watch this. I haven’t seen much of this season but I will see it all.
Next week, more Avatar if you havent already bought a copy for every room in your house, the begining of the end of Harry Potter, and Russel Crowe shows us how to escape from prison. I have yet to deside if I should go to a midnight screening of the Deadly Hallows Part 1 and make fun of all the dudes.
