Bon Jovi Announce 2013 World Tour and New Record

Posted by Jon Rockin Rogo on

Bon Jovi has announced a 2013 world tour in support of their forthcoming new record. Because We Can — the Tour will begin in Canada (see below), before scheduled but not yet revealed dates take the group through the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Far East, Africa and Australia.

Presale for the February 17, 2013 date in Toronto begins Friday morning at 10 AM ET. The five remaining shows on the schedule will begin their pre-sale at 10 AM local venue time on Roctober 27.

While U.S. dates haven't been announced yet, the hole between Canadian dates makes it reasonable to assume the rockers will be playing the states in March. Logistically that would make more sense then shuttling to Europe or Africa for 35 days before returning to play Alberta on April 2, 2013.

The new tour is expected to include familiar hits and new songs from the upcoming 'What About Now' record, set for a spring 2013 release. In total the band has played over 2,700 concerts in 50 countries for more than 35 million fans since debuting out of New Jersey in 1983.

Tour dates announced thus far:

February:

13 Montreal, QB Bell Centre
17 Toronto, ON Air Canada Centre
20 Ottawa, ON Scotiabank Place

April:

2 Calgary, AB Saddledome
3 Edmonton, AB Rexall Place
5 Winnipeg, MB MTS Centre
