Slash debuts New Song from Apocalyptic Love

Looking forward to hear Slash's forthcoming record, 'Apocalyptic Love'? You're going to have to wait until Mid-May for the whole experience, but the former Gun's axe man has been cool enough to leak a clip from the record to hold us over.

The song preview, taken from the album track 'You're a Lie,' showcases Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy, who co-wrote the record with Slash. For the new sessions, Slash reunited with producer Eric Valentine, who also helped man the boards for 2010′s 'Slash' record.

'Slash' was an unqualified success, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and featuring Slash working alongside an eclectic crew of special guests that included Ozzy, Lemmy, Iggy Pop, Kid Rock, Adam Levine, and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas. This time out, Slash opted for a more cohesive approach, recording with a basic combo that included Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, and Brent Fitz on drums.

Enjoy your first taste of the record:
