Whitesnake Preparing 'Forevermore' Concert DVD

Whitesnake had some of their fans concerned about the future when they dropped off the road earlier this year. At the time, they issued a statement that they were taking a break from touring to focus their efforts on the studio.

That studio time has apparently paid off, as the group revealed that the time away was used to mix some of the live recordings they had recorded from the "Forevermore World Tour."

According to David Coverdale the band is busily mixing and editing a live record and a separate in-concert DVD from the 'Forevermore' world tour, and mixing special expanded editions of 'Into the Light' and 'Restless Heart. Plus archiving so much audio and visual content from so many years.

At the time of the tour hiatus, the group stated that a new full studio record was not in the immediate plans, and apparently that is still the case. Coverdale echoed those sentiments, stating, "Quite simply, we couldn't have time to write and record a new studio album. It was never on our agenda for 2012."
