Last year, AC/DC launched their own brand of wine in their native Australia. The response was so good that, in February, they were able to begin exporting it to the U.K. Now, they look to conquer an even bigger market, with the product soon to hit select stores in America.
Their wine comes in four varietals, each named after an AC/DC classic, 'Back in Black' Shiraz, 'Highway to Hell' Cabernet Sauvignon, 'Thunderstruck' Chardonnay and 'Hells Bells' Sauvignon Blanc. They will soon launch a fifth, called 'You Shook Me All Night Long' Moscato.
And if you're wondering why the consumate opportunist Gene Simmons hasn't thought of this, you're too late. KISS launched their own label of wine and beer in Europe last fall.
