One of the most ground breaking metal records of all time is being reissued - Dio's 'Holy Diver,' originally released in 1983, will be available on January 31st.
The never version will feature all nine original songs and a "two-page spread of the photo-montage LP liner, with images from both RJD's Rainbow and Black Sabbath days, which was included on the original release."
The record is considered by many to be the band's best work and now fans will get to hear it straight from the original 1983 studio tapes.
IGN Entertainment listed 'Holy Diver' at No. 8 on its list of Top 25 Metal Albums. The record was made soon after singer Ronnie James Dio left Black Sabbath in 1982. Over the next ten years it would go on to achive platinum (1,000,000) certification in the U.S and Sliver (500,000) certification in Britain.
