Release Date For Soundgarden's New Record

The 16-year wait is almost over...Soundgarden's reunion record will be released on November 13.

The band reunited in 2010, with a handful of select dates leading to a full tour and finally the idea to record a brand-new record. Though Soundgarden have done a fair amount of touring over the last two years, so far the only track they've released in the last two years was 'Live to Rise,' which was penned specifically for the 'Avengers' soundtrack.

The new disc reportedly features tracks named 'Blood on the Valley Floor' and 'A Thousand Days Before.'

In addition to the new, still-untitled release, frontman Chris Cornell recently revealed in an interview with the New York Times that there were approximately unreleased 15 tracks from the band's early days that could possibly be made available someday.
