The year of the rock autobiography continues…

Having already heard from the likes of Sammy Hagar, Steven Tyler, Scott Weiland and Rob Lowe amongst others this year, look for Duff McKagan’s "It's So Easy (And Other Lies)" to be released on Rocktober 4th.  This will be the third original Gun’s N’ Roses member to release a book, following the 2008 release of Slash's self titled autobiography and Steven Alder's 'My Appetite for Destruction: Sex & Drugs & Guns N' Roses', which was released last year.

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi's official autobiography, "Iron Man:My Journey through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath" drops on November 1st as well as a tell all autobiography from former Deep Purple and current Black County Communion front man Glenn Hughes.

2012 will bring more interesting reads with autobiographies expected from Billy Idol "Dancing with Myself", Bret Michaels “Roses & Thorns,” Pete Townshend (untitled) and the late Ronnie James Dio (untitled) who began work on his autobiography prior to his untimely death, his wife Wendy is working to complete the book.

Must see TV this week:  Chris Cornell on the Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday, September 22nd.
