Best Rock Commercials For 2012

Posted by Jennifer Taylor on

2012 turned out to be a great year for classic rock bands getting placed in commercials. Everywhere you turned, there was a famous rock song or artist promoting a video game, a car, coffee, the Olympics, or even insurance.

Acts like Kiss, Journey, the Rolling Stones, Rush, and even a more obscure act like The Seeds got a boost from commercial play. Queen‘s music turned up in a pair of advertisements, and rockers like Eddie Money and Peter Frampton both actually turned up in the commercials where their music was played.

As we look back, we’ll give you one more glance at some of the year’s best classic rock commercials. After viewing them and choosing your favorites, use the form at the bottom of this page to register your vote.

You can vote in each Ultimate Classic Rock Awards category once per hour as many times as you want between now and Jan. 15, 2013. The winner will be revealed on Jan. 16, 2013.
