Velvet Revolver was the supergroup that combined talent from GNR and the voice of STP frontman Scott Weiland. The group disbanded in a bizarre fashion at a live show when Weiland blurted out that the band would be no more. This came as a bummer to many fans of the group.

Slash posted a message on his Myspace that confirms the group is actively auditioning new singers! This comes as a shock since it is a rarity in rock when a GOOD band gets back together. Q106 will keep you posted as details come to light.
