More About The Jackson Angels Network

Jackson Angels Network is a grass roots movement run and funded completely by area citizens in Jackson that know there are people in their community that need help.  The goal of the organization is to find those in need and connect them with the people want to help others but just sometimes don't know where to start.  While encouraging those that have more than they need to give to those that don't.  Although money donations are great to have we want to encourage people to give their time as well by volunteering, making there community a better place to live.

Our job is directing those in need of assistance with for items like food, clothing, rent, etc. to area agencies that can assist them. When those agencies run out of resources our goal is to be a safety net.  This program has allowed us to get homeless people off the streets, provided pumpkins to area shelters for Halloween, let the public know when local homeless shelters run out of items such as diapers, take food to families living in motels, give rides to area churches and food banks.

If there is a fire and a family loses everything or a family has a sudden and expected death and can't afford food or a location for a service spread the word to our network. The Jackson Angels Network even helps the community by cleaning up a local park, removing debris and graffiti.  Acting member Angela Holmes said, "I am amazed over and over at how giving and caring our community has been, responding to the many needs of our clients and how willing people are to help out complete strangers.  It is a beautiful thing to watch."
