    Identity Theft - Rated R

Melissa McCarthy steals Jason Bateman’s identity.  If I would have put any two other actors in that last sentence, this movie would be horrible.  I think a buddy road trip with an identity thief is a terrible idea, but Bateman and McCarthy are talented enough to make even this plot work.

Verdict - I might not be in love with the idea of this movie, but the cast is talented and funny.

    Side Effects - Rated R

Jude Law prescribes Rooney Mara some drugs for anxiety, then a dead body shows up.  Who’s fault is it?  Steven Soderbergh (Traffic and Erin Brockovich)  directs this tense thriller that should be entertaining.  Even Channing Tatums lack of acting ability shouldn’t hurt this too much.

Verdict - This should keep on the lower half of my seat.

    Flight - Rated R

This story of a airline pilot saving a plane with people while drunk has gained Denzel Washington another Oscar nod.  We all should watch this twice.

Here Comes The Boom - Rated PG

Kevin James joins the UFC to save the music program.  Critics hated it but everyone I have ever talked to thought this was good.  I wonder who I should believe.

Next week Bond, James Bond, a bunch of aliens want off the planet, and John McClane is back.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters - Rated R

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton are Hansel and Gretel.  All grown up and killing witches.  This reminds me of Snow White and The Huntsman; in a bad way.  I do not like taking awesome fairy tales and trying to add action to them.  But in the case of Witch Hunters, they are just continuing the story.  I can live with that.  Plus Hawkeye is in it and Jeremy Renner is good in everything.

Verdict - Mind numbing action that might just be entertaining.

    Movie 43 - Rated R

Everybody in Hollywood is in this movie about 12 stories.  Apparently it is funny.  I have always been very weary of these types of anthology movies.  I should probably given in and try one of these 30 stories in 90 minutes movies.

Verdict - Might be worth seeing at some point but I am not sold that this will be any good.

    Parker - Rated R

This is the true story of Q106’s own Parker.  His humble beginnings as a child genius, his life learning radio, and his second life as a dangerous hired assassin.  Its either this or Jason Statham is getting revenge on the guys who double crossed him.  I like the first choice better.

Verdict - It’s amazing how much Jason Statham looks like Parker.  If this actually stared Parker I might be excited.

End Of Watch - Rated R

Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena are LAPD cops who are targeted by the drug cartel.  Reminds of The Shield and thats a good thing.

Next Week more ghosts on DVD, Zombies in love, and Sly keeps on making action films.  When will we stop watching them?
